Meet Dr. Tony Choi an Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractor Mauldin
Dr. Choi’s desire is to provide patient-centered, neurologically based, holistically minded care to treat the entire person and not just the symptoms. His passion began when he spent thousands of dollars in medical expenses only to be told that everything was normal. Countless trips to medical doctors revealed nothing more than normal function. However, he knew something was not right, so he kept searching for answers. It wasn’t until he stumbled upon an upper cervical (neck) chiropractor that unlocked the path to health, and he began to experience a general sense of well-being that he had never experienced before. He ultimately wanted to help others experience the same outcomes, so he decided to become a chiropractor himself!
Dr. Choi believes that our bodies are amazing and, if given the proper conditions, can live healthy, vibrant lives long into old age. Through his experience, he believes these conditions primarily consist of three pillars: proper nerve system function, proper muscular function, and proper physiological/biochemical function. He has dedicated his education to uncovering “roadblocks to health” in these three pillars for the health of his future patients.
Dr. Choi is a South Carolina native and received his BS in Chemistry from Clemson University. He continued his education at Sherman College of Chiropractic and graduated summa cum laude with highest honors, denoted by receiving the Milton W. Garfunkel Award, along with the Clinic Excellence Award and the BJ Palmer Philosophy Award. Dr. Choi knew that getting results for his future patients was extremely important, so he spent hundreds of hours sacrificing weekends during college to attend various seminars to learn the best and to provide the best of patient care.
